Subtle nuances of different aromas, the "Savoy Tomme" cheese is a real local gastronomic institution

"Savoy Tomme" has a mottled grey and mouldy rind which can have small holes as can the pate. This white to pale yellow pate, melts in the mouth and has a nutty taste. It has an aroma reminiscent of a cheese cellar. "Savoy Tomme" made with summer milk are more fragrant.

"Savoy Tomme" can be eaten after a meal or used as an ingredient in many recipes, such as savoury pies.
