This liqueur "Eau de noix", is developed from an ancient recipe for walnut wine.

Dauphine provides much of the French walnut production.
A family tradition of Dauphine, was to steep green walnuts picked on the day of St. Jean in wine and brandy (St Jean Day is a fun holiday in France on the 24th June each year and is celebrated by lighting bonfires and hosting parties).

The Chartreux Monks have taken this tradition and created an original recipe. They added some further plants at the steeping stage, which gives this wine an exceptional taste.

Alcohol: 23% vol.

Tasting Advice :
To bring out the flavours, this wine is best served chilled, preferably without ice.

Preserving Advice :
This spirit should be stored upright, in a dry place, protected from light.
