Called "Elixir Liqueur", this very first liqueur is produced again today, to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the handing over of the Carthusian manuscript.
The "Chartreuse 1605" is very strong and traditionally produced. Enthusiasts who enjoy authentic flavours, will appreciate it.

It requires 130 herbs to be produced.
Only two Chartreux monks know the names of these herbs and know how to blend and distill them.


Alcohol: 56% vol.

Tasting Advice:
To bring out the flavors, the Chartreuse is best served with ice cubes.

Preserving Advice:
This spirit should be stored upright, in a dry place, protected from light.
